Mr. Wanchai Sukkasem, Academic Officer Level 5. Natural History Museum said that NSM has been around the country with preserved animals in boxes and crates. These stuffed animals must be kept at a temperature of 25 degrees Celcius in a well-ventilated place. They should not stand in a high temperature area because the skin could break. Illumination should also be low for strong light may change the color. The animal bodies were preserved with weak chemicals and thus the officers are safe enough to work in the area. Finally, some insects could destroy them, and so they should be checked every 3 months. If there are traces of these animal-eating insects, then the stuffed animals should be refrigerated at -20 degrees. However, the natural protected wildlife cannot be stuffed.

The center is the practice zone for students that promotes the growth and values of the university. In addition, it also answers the university’s People Policy or the stakeholders through education transformation and development of a learning resource for people of all ages.

There are also strict measures against Corona virus, COVID-19. Visitors are checked for high temperature, asked to apply alcohol spray, and wear mask. Each zone limits the number of visitors and a hygiene sheet is placed on all areas where people need to touch, for example, the elevator buttons. All zones are installed with hand-washing gel that works automatically. Cleaners are to clean the toilets every hour. All of these guarantee safety from virus contact.

“The Museum and Life-Long Learning Center of KKU will do everything to let the visitors visit the place with the highest degree of safety.
