On January 8th, 2019, KKU’s Faculty of Dentistry under the lead of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waranooch Pitipat (DDS) welcomed a team of KKU’s ethics committee on the occasion of their mobile meeting. The faculty reported the faculty’s past years achievements to the visitors under an affectionate atmosphere.
Twelve members of KKU’s ethics committee consists of the following honorable people; Mr. Det Boonnak (chairperson), Mr. Prasert Kianninsiri (qualified committee), Mr. Somneuk Nernsai (qualified committee), Prof. Sukachat Kirtpol (qualified committee), Prof. Supaleuk Sinsupan (qualified committee), Assoc. Prof. Paiboon Doasooksai (committee), Asst. Prof. Likit Amatayakong (committee), The chairman of the University Staff Council (committee), Mr. Satit Kaewboodda (committee and secretary), Mr. Boonchai Ongsaeng (assistant secretary), Mrs. Songsuda Toongkaew (assistant secretary), Ms. Daranee Saengwong (Lawyer). The meeting started by the reporting of the ethics boards’ policy then Dentistry’s dean reported to the meeting about the faculty ethics policy and performances since the foundation of the faculty. The meeting provided solutions to the problems that the faculty had to encounter prior to taking a group photo.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waranooch said ethics provide solid ground to the personnel administration of the university. It is a compass that directs moral behaviors of KKU personnel, which would help maintain the prestige of the university.
Ethics is established and promoted among KKU workers to direct them in exercising good deeds, which helps create the wellness in the university.
