The ASEAN Studies Center, KKU, organized Tet Festival activities.
The ASEAN Studies Center, Khon Kaen University, was honored by Assistant Professor Dr. Marasri Sothip, Deputy Dean for Student Development and Alumni Relations, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, to preside over the opening ceremony of the “Tet Festival” on January 30, 2025, which was the second year of the event. Assistant Professor Dr. Kiratiporn Chutawiriya, Acting Director of the ASEAN Studies Center, Khon Kaen University, reported on the objectives of organizing this event. The ASEAN Studies Center, Khon Kaen University, together with all lecturers and students of the Vietnamese Studies minor, supported and promoted the learning of those interested in Vietnamese studies, and students gained skills in Vietnamese cooking culture, performing arts and culture, and Vietnamese speech contests, which are important parts of creating a valuable cultural and social learning atmosphere. The success of this event was due to the cooperation of lecturers and students who participated in all parties, as well as support from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thananan Boonwanna, lecturer of the Vietnamese Studies minor, lecturers, staff, and the community within Khon Kaen University, with more than 100 participants from various fields of study, both inside and outside the faculty. It is also a good opportunity for Vietnamese people in the Khon Kaen University community to meet and celebrate the important festival together. The ASEAN Studies Center, Khon Kaen University would like to thank everyone who participated in organizing this event, including those who supported the venue and equipment to make the event run smoothly.
