วันที่ 8-9 มิถุนายน 2566 มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น นำโดย ศ.ดร.ธิดารัตน์ บุญมาศ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายนวัตกรรมและวิสาหกิจ และ รศ.ดร.จุฑาพร แสวงแก้ว รักษาการแทนรอง ผอ.ศูนย์ประสานงานโครงการอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริ พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนจากสถาบันเครือข่ายเชิงประเด็นฯ โครงการอนุรักษ์พันธุกรรมพืชอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริ สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี (อพ.สธ.) ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบนจำนวน 5 แห่ง ได้แก่ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏร้อยเอ็ด มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏอุดรธานี มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสกลนคร มหาวิทยาลัยภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ และวิทยาลัยบัณฑิตเอเซีย เข้าร่วมประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ระหว่างเครือข่ายเชิงประเด็น อพ.สธ. ณ ประสานสุขรีสอร์ท อำเภอสิชล จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ในงานประชุมฯ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สมบัติ ธำรงธัญวงศ์ รักษาการแทนอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ กล่าวต้อนรับประธานเครือข่ายทั้ง 9 แห่ง สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (สป.อว.) แขกผู้มีเกียรติ และคณะผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมฯ รวมถึง ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธวัชชัย ศุภดิษฐ์ รักษาการแทนรองอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ ประธานกรรมการบริหารเครือข่าย C- อพ.สธ. ภาคใต้ตอนบน กล่าวรายงาน และมี นายพันธุ์เพิ่มศักดิ์ อารุณี

          The Coordinating Center for Royal Initiative Projects, Khon Kaen University would like to announce the recruitment of the Integrated Issue-Based Community Development Project Scholarship for the Fiscal Year 2023. Criteria for consideration of scholarship allocation: 1. The project must be a knowledge transfer project for innovative technology to support the conservation and utilization of resources (plant resources, animal resources, other biological resources, wisdom and cultural resources) or a project related to the conservation and utilization of rubber trees, such as the carbon credit market for rubber trees, renewable energy from rubber trees, the verification of traditional wisdom, and others. 2. The project must have: - Output: Creation of new innovations or technologies or new products - Outcome: Product development, community modeling, community innovation, or value addition - Impact: Increased income or reduced expenses 3. The project must be operated in the area of the Royal Initiative Plant Genetic Conservation Project (RPS-KKU), service area 15 districts.

On April 7, 2022, the Coordinating Center for Royal Projects, Khon Kaen University organized a workshop on natural resources and environmental management and conservation techniques, “Course on Plant Specimen Collection and Preservation Techniques” at the Sirikunakorn Building, Khon Kaen University, for 40 participants from schools and local administrative organizations. We were honored to have a lecturer who is an expert in plant species and plant preservation from the Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, to give a lecture and practice. We were also honored to have officers from the Museum and Lifelong Learning Center act as assistant lecturers for the practice. We were honored to have Assistant Professor Chudaporn Saengkaew, Acting Deputy Director of the Coordinating Center for Royal Projects, as follows: The Coordinating Center for Royal Projects, Khon Kaen University organized a workshop on natural resources and environmental management and conservation techniques, “Course on Plant Specimen Collection and Preservation Techniques”, with the target group of participants being personnel of royal initiative agencies and interested persons. The objective is to provide participants with knowledge, understanding, and techniques for collecting natural resources and environmental samples and basic sample analysis, as well as guidelines for integrated management and conservation of natural resources and the environment, which can be applied to their work. In addition, all participants will receive useful knowledge and guidelines for their operations. Get to know a network of members with the same intention and be able to exchange ideas or help each other in the future. Then there was a lecture on the topic of “Operations in response to the royal initiative, the Plant Genetic Conservation Project initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (P.S.D.) and the importance of collecting and preserving plant specimens in response to the royal initiative.” 

           On April 5, 2022, the Coordinating Center for Royal Projects, Khon Kaen University organized a workshop on natural resources and environmental management and conservation techniques, a course on animal resource sample collection and preservation techniques, at Sirikunakorn Room 3, 2nd floor, Sirikunakorn Building, Khon Kaen University. Participants from schools and local administrative organizations were interested in the training, and officers from the Museum and Lifelong Learning Center were kindly invited to be assistant lecturers during the practical training. We were honored to have Assistant Professor Chuthaporn Saengkaew, Acting Deputy Director of the Coordinating Center for Royal Projects, Khon Kaen University, give a welcome speech and opening remarks as follows: The Coordinating Center for Royal Projects, Khon Kaen University organized a workshop on natural resources and environmental management and conservation techniques, a course on animal resource sample collection and preservation techniques. The target group of participants were personnel of royal initiative agencies and interested individuals. The objectives were to provide participants with knowledge, understanding, and techniques for collecting natural resources and environmental samples and basic sample analysis, as well as guidelines for integrated natural resources and environmental management and conservation, which could be applied to their work. In addition, all participants will receive useful knowledge and guidelines for their operations today, as well as get to know a network of members who share the same passion. Which can exchange ideas or help each other in the future.      

On March 28, 2022, the Coordinating Center for the Royal Projects, RDHS - Khon Kaen University, in collaboration with the Coordinating Center for RDHS - Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University, the Coordinating Center for RDHS - Udon Thani Rajabhat University, the Coordinating Center for RDHS - Rajamangala University of Technology Isan Sakon Nakhon Campus, the Coordinating Center for RDHS - Rajamangala University of Technology Isan Khon Kaen Campus, and the Coordinating Center for RDHS - Kalasin University, organized a training to drive the operations of school botanical gardens to meet the standards of the Royal Plant Genetic Conservation Project, organized in the form of a video conference via the ZOOM Meeting system, broadcast live from the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning, Information Building, Khon Kaen University, with 600 interested agencies and participants. In this training, Asst. Prof. Penprapa Phetchaburanin, Advisor to the Coordinating Center for the Royal Projects, Khon Kaen University, gave an opening speech as follows: Khon Kaen University Responds to the Royal Initiative of the Plant Genetic Conservation Project Under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (Public Health) for more than 24 years with researchers from Khon Kaen University.

 On March 24, 2022, the Coordinating Center for Royal Initiative Projects, Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anusorn Chetthong and Dr. Chanon Sunthara, together with students from the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University, visited Tambon Buayen, Nam Phong District, Khon Kaen Province to transfer knowledge and practice adding value from the diversity of local resources. Develop a model for utilizing cassava leaves, which are agricultural waste materials, as raw materials for beef cattle feed by reducing the amount of cyanide to a safe level. This activity was attended by 30 beef cattle farmers, divided into 5 activities as follows: 1. Information presentation 2. Introduction of equipment, methods, demonstration and practice using dried cassava leaves 3. Demonstration and practice of making concentrated food with dried cassava leaves as an ingredient in the food recipe 4. Introduction of equipment, methods, demonstration and practice of fermenting fresh cassava leaves 5. Introduction of equipment, methods, demonstration and practice of fermenting fresh cassava leaves and fresh cassava roots The highlight of dried cassava leaves is that they contain high protein content of 20-25 %. They can be used to replace protein raw materials such as soybean waste and expensive corn. They are easy to make and save on costs and labor. The highlight of fresh cassava leaves is that they are fermented together with fresh cassava roots.
