On 2 July 2024, at the Special Reception, 6th floor, Sirikunakorn Building, HE Dr. Angela Jane Macdonald, Australian Ambassador to Thailand, and a delegation from the Australian Ambassador to Thailand met with the executives of Khon Kaen University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, along with Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-aswapati, Vice President for International Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Atcharawan Topakngam, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, who jointly welcomed the Ambassador. During the meeting, discussions were held on cooperation in education, research, culture, economics and society, and other future cooperation. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, revealed that Khon Kaen University has strong academic cooperation with Australian institutions.
