__________On November 30, 2022, Khon Kaen University, by the Center for Innovation in Sustainability and Society, Khon Kaen University International College, in collaboration with the Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University, Northeast Science Park, Metal and Materials Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University, and Mahidol University International College, held a press conference to launch the research project “Circular X Creative Economy – A Business Model for Circular and Creative Economy for the Management of Waste from the Mango Processing Industry and Other Agricultural Wastes in Khon Kaen Province”, with Assistant Professor Sirimonporn Tipsing, Dean of Khon Kaen University International College, giving a welcome address, Assistant Professor Chavis Ketkaew, Deputy Dean for Strategy, Research and International Affairs and Project Director, giving a report, Dr. Phongwipa Loesomboon, Chairman of the Circular Economy Group Plan Subcommittee, giving an honorable speech at the opening ceremony, and Associate Professor Dr. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, presiding over the online opening ceremony, amidst distinguished guests and media from all branches at the Northeast Science Park, Khon Kaen University. __________Assistant Professor Sirimanop Thipphasingh said that KKU International College is a source of diversity that fosters creativity, leading to innovation by integrating social sciences, liberal arts, and sciences (Interdisciplinary) in an international environment. Therefore, the research project "Circular X Creative Economy" was organized in collaboration with network partners. The aim is to enhance existing products or services, improve product properties, and make them sustainable innovations under the concept of new technologies, maintaining a balance, and preserving the environment, both in terms of human and commercial ways.
