ประชุมเตรียมความพร้อมพิธีพระราชทานปริญญาบัตร ประจำปี 2567
การประชุมเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับพิธีพระราชทานปริญญาบัตร ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2567 ที่จัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 19 พฤศจิกายนที่ผ่านมา ณ ห้องประชุมสารสิน ชั้น 2 อาคารสิริคุณากร สำนักงานอธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น สำนักงานบริหารและพัฒนาวิชาการ ได้ดำเนินการเสร็จสิ้นเป็นที่เรียบร้อย โดยมีตัวแทนจากหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องจากมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น สำนักพระราชวัง ทหาร ตำรวจ และจังหวัดขอนแก่น เข้าร่วมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง การประชุมครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประสานงานและสรุปแนวทางการจัดพิธีฯ ให้เป็นไปอย่างสมพระเกียรติและราบรื่น ซึ่งในที่ประชุมได้มีการชี้แจงขั้นตอนพิธีการและกำหนดการต่างๆ อย่างละเอียด รวมถึงการปฏิบัติในวันงานจริง เพื่อให้ทุกฝ่ายเข้าใจตรงกันและลดความคลาดเคลื่อนที่อาจเกิดขึ้น ผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมแสดงความเห็นพร้อมเสนอข้อปรับปรุงในบางส่วนเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการจัดงาน ทั้งนี้ ที่ประชุมได้เน้นย้ำว่าผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องทุกฝ่ายต้องเตรียมงานให้เป็นไปตามมาตรฐานที่กำหนด โดยเฉพาะเรื่องความปลอดภัยและการจัดระเบียบสถานที่

KKU researchers present AI research in collaboration with Imperial College London to UK ministers
On 20 September 2024, KKU researchers presented the results of a joint research project between Khon Kaen University and Imperial College London to the UK Parliamentary Secretary Catherine West. The British Council Thailand, together with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, welcomed Catherine West, Minister for Indo-Pacific Affairs, and held a bilateral meeting to discuss the promotion and support of science and research for collaboration between researchers from both countries, which emphasized the close cooperation in higher education and science between Thailand and the UK. The research team from Khon Kaen University consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Chutharab Petchburanin, Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Committee for Driving Research and Academic Services in Phenomics, Khon Kaen University; Lecturer Dr. Mom Luang Manida Suksawat, International College and Committee Member and Assistant Secretary of the Phenomics Research and Academic Services Project, Khon Kaen University; and Mr. Thirayut Bupphamala, Graduate Student in the Medical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Program. Honored to be a representative of the research team of the joint project between Khon Kaen University and Imperial College London, supported by the British Council under the Research Environments Scheme.

Two researchers from KKU win the 2024 High Potential Researcher Award at the National Research Expo
Two high-potential researchers of the year 2024, Khon Kaen University, received the certificate of high-potential researcher honor from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at the “Thailand Research Expo 2024” on August 30, 2024. They are Professor Dr. Wanchai Maleewong, a lecturer from the Faculty of Medicine, who has outstanding achievements in the project “Research Group: Creating new knowledge on emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, neglected tropical infectious diseases and vector-borne diseases with integrated research to develop new innovations for commercial application and human resource development for a sustainable Thai society”, focusing on the application of research, creating new knowledge on emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, neglected tropical infectious diseases and vector-borne diseases with integrated research, leading to highly effective diagnosis, treatment and prevention. The second person is Professor Dr. Alisara Ruangsaeng, a lecturer from the Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Technology, who has outstanding achievements in the project “Development of biofuel and biochemical production technology from biomass and waste materials from sugarcane and sugar industries under the bioeconomy-circular economy-green economy approach”, divided into 2 main platforms: the bioenergy platform that aims to produce hydrogen, methane, and biohythane, and the biochemical platform that aims to produce high-value chemicals such as fatty acids and biopolymers, with cooperation from the industrial sector, especially Mitr Phol Sugarcane and Sugar Research and Development Co., Ltd., to apply research results for practical use in the “National Research Expo 2024” organized by the National Research Office (NRCT).

ด้วยที่ประชุมประธานสภาอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งประเทศไทย (ปอมท.) ร่วมกับสภาพนักงาน มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้กำหนดจัดโครงการการประชุมวิชาการ ปอมท. ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2567 ภายใต้หัวข้อ Generative AI ที่สร้างสรรค์ในการเปลี่ยนแปลง การศึกษา : นวัตกรรมความท้าทาย และภาพอนาคต “Generative AI in Transforming Education : Innovations, Challenges, and Future Prospects” ในวันที่ 21 – 22 พฤศจิกายน 2567 ณ โรงแรมอวานี ขอนแก่น โฮเทล แอนด์ คอนเวนชั่น เซ็นเตอร์ จังหวัดขอนแก่น โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้บุคลากรในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาได้แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ ประสานความร่วมมือ ประสบการณ์ เพื่อเผยแพร่ความรู้ ตลอดจนการพัฒนาตนเองและองค์กรอย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมถึงการแสดงผลงานของ “อาจารย์ดีเด่นแห่งชาติ ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2567” เพื่อยกย่อง และเชิดชูเกียรติอาจารย์ที่ปฏิบัติงานในสถาบันอุดมศึกษา ของรัฐ ซึ่งเป็นผู้มีความรู้ความสามารถในเชิงวิชาการ มีความสามารถในการถ่ายทอดความรู้ มีคุณธรรมจริยธรรม และอุทิศตน อันเป็นประโยชน์ต่อประเทศชาติ สมควรได้รับการยกย่องให้ปรากฏแก่บุคลากรด้านการศึกษา
