Academic Services Office presents the “GSB Youth Savings for Local Development, Power 2” project to the Government Savings Bank Board of Directors.

The Academic Service Office, Khon Kaen University, in collaboration with the Government Savings Bank, organized a forum to present guidelines for the development of community organization groups (5 sub-projects) to the Government Savings Bank Board of Directors under the Local Wisdom Enhancement and Development Project 2022, GSB Youth Development, Local Conservation “2nd Power” in an online format on March 31, 2022 at the Mani Thewa Meeting Room, Academic Service Office. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuchai Kamonlert, Director of the Academic Service Office, chaired the opening ceremony and spoke about the importance of the participation of the Academic Service Office and the Government Savings Bank in developing communities, enterprise groups, and producing quality graduates according to needs. This activity is a pilot project to integrate knowledge to be applied in line with local wisdom. Academic Service Office joins hands with Government Savings Bank to organize the activity "GSB Youth Savings Protect Locality Power 2" for the year 2022

The Academic Service Office, together with the Government Savings Bank, organized a meeting to explain the guidelines for the activity to enhance and develop local wisdom in 2022, “GSB Youth Development Project, Protecting Locality, Power 2”, to develop knowledge, enhance wisdom, create economic value for the community, and search for potential to upgrade community products and enterprise groups. On February 24, 2022, the Academic Service Office organized an activity to search for potential to upgrade community products and enterprise groups in Phu Pha Man District, Khon Kaen Province in an online format with entrepreneurs. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuchai Kamonlert, Director of the Academic Service Office, was honored to preside over the opening ceremony of the project at the Mani Thewa Meeting Room, Academic Service Office. U2T Academic Service Office organizes an activity: From bamboo to weaving, exchanging local wisdom, aiming for sustainable development.

On November 8-10, 2021, the Academic Service Office, in collaboration with the Na Fai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Phu Pha Man District, Khon Kaen Province, organized a workshop on From Bamboo to Weaving to Upgrade Products and Create Careers under the Integrated Subdistrict Economic and Social Upgrading Project (1 Subdistrict, 1 University). Ms. Wiraphorn Hanya, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Na Fai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, gave an opening speech for the project with the aim of upgrading the products of the Na Fai community, taking the traditional rice containers of the community to create added value and enhance selling points to better meet and meet market demands, including developing into the establishment of weaving groups in the community to continue and preserve local wisdom, creating a secondary career, increasing income and creating sustainability.         On November 2, 2021, the Academic Service Office, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuchai Kamonlert, Director of the Academic Service Office, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supasit Konyai, Deputy Director of Academic Service, Mr. Thawat Rattanamontri, Director of the Office Administration Division, Mr. Boonyarit Sombatlai, Member of the Council of Khon Kaen University, Ms. Dueanphendao Chiwphimai, Head of Academic Service, Ms. Wiphada Meewaew, Head of Administration and Corporate Communications, and Ms. Uengfa Wansith, Head of Strategy and Information Planning, opened the activity of organizing a forum to present prototype products, the project to upgrade Isan hand-woven fabrics to international standards, providing in-depth advice on product development and increasing product value for fiscal year 2021 by the Academic Service Office in collaboration with the Industrial Promotion Center, Region 5, organized both Onsite and Online, with prototype products from 7 provinces in the Northeast, a total of 61 businesses, and a total of 61 sets of work at Bayasita Hotel, Khon Kaen University.
