Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, led by Dr. Phongsaphan Satthathip Deputy Dean for Industrial Relations and Sustainability, along with Ms. Atiya Trappokpoon Laboratory staff Ms. Phanthila Hiranno Academics andMs. Nantapron Khamsontha General Affairs Manager, Expert, attended the workshop to become a teacher (Train The Trainer) under the project “One Village, One Professional Thai Chef (Master Thai Chef Program)” Which will be held from 6-10 January 2025 at the Grand Ballroom, 3rd floor, Thai Food Learning Center Building, Food Institute, Bangkok, Ministry of Industry.
This project is supported by the National Soft Power Strategy Committee, with the Office of Creative Culture Promotion or Thailand Creative Content Agency (THACCA) Be a policy promoter One Family One Soft Power (OFOS) Food, a total of 23 courses to enhance knowledge and skills for teachers in the professional Thai chef course and to improve the ability to work in the Thai food profession for personnel and those interested. It also promotes cooperation between the public and private sectors in driving the Thai food industry towards becoming Soft Power Sustainable in the global market
Participating in this project also helps to enhance the knowledge and roles of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, by being able to transfer the knowledge gained to the community, students, and both government and private sectors, which is in line with the mission according to the Faculty's strategic issues. “Bridging Academia and Industry for Future Success” and “Innovative Revenue Generation Initiatives” To create collaboration between industry experts and academic researchers and develop innovations that can be further developed to generate income.
For the extension of the project, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy has scheduled to organize the project. “One Village, One Professional Thai Chef (Master Thai Chef Program) 1st Generation” To transfer knowledge and develop Thai cooking skills to Khon Kaen University students to upgrade them to professional chefs between 20 January and 28 February 2025 at Dusita Meeting Room, 5th floor, Academic Services Office, Khon Kaen University and Food and Beverage Laboratory, 1st floor, Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University.
