Prof. Dr. Sinlapakit Teekhantikul, Dr. Kantapong Jitkla, Phra Maha Suriya Thipwan, Phra Thirawat Sihanam, distinguished lecturers and students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

After the special lecture, he attended a seminar on the topic “The 7th Opening of the Royal Thai Army’s Foreign Archives: Translation of Important Documents from South Korea, China, France, Vietnam, and the United States” Speakers from Khon Kaen University in collaboration with the Chulalongkorn Military Academy, Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Ewha Womans University, South Korea, and Paris 1 Sorbonne University presented translations of historical documents kept in archives around the world. Senior scholars and research project leaders presented the origins and special characteristics of the documents, their translations, and their contents, taking into account the specific contexts of each country.
The Archives of the Department of History, Education Division is a royal initiative project that has been in operation since 1992. In 2022, it was renamed as “The Royal Archives of Foreign Affairs” to collect and store documents about Thailand from archives of foreign countries, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, Germany, and China. His Majesty aims to support teaching and research of lecturers of Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy. His Majesty also intends to open and develop services for academics, lecturers, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, as well as interested persons, to be able to search, read, and use documents comprehensively. Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy has implemented the royal initiative and organized an annual academic seminar. This is the 4th year that it has been organized in collaboration with the National Research Office to honor Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and to disseminate the model of “academic soldiers” to exchange knowledge between educational institutions, which include academics, lecturers, and students from both military and civilian educational institutions.
