On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Pensri Charoenwanich expressed her gratitude to the executives, lecturers and staff of the Faculty who joined forces and devoted themselves to developing the Faculty to meet international standards. She also thanked students, alumni, parents, networks and partners, as well as all relevant parties. She took this opportunity to wish the Faculty success in requesting AACSB international accreditation (AACSB Accredited) and success in implementing all aspects of its mission.
“Since the first term as Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy in July 2016 until now, the Faculty has continuously developed in all aspects under the administration of the Faculty with the vision, mission and values as committed to the Khon Kaen College Council. The Faculty has been developed in all aspects, such as creating a variety of courses covering business administration and accounting, expanding customer groups by organizing lifelong learning with strong networks both domestically and internationally, managing research centers and academic services to be strong and able to support all missions, and becoming a Business School with a Business Unit, namely Bayasita Hotel, which supports the success in producing quality graduates, generating income and promoting the image. In addition, the Faculty has managed and developed the Faculty with the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) by passing the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence at 200 points in 2018 and passing the EdPEx assessment at 300 points in 2022 from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. which is the first faculty in the field of social science and business administration in Thailand," said Associate Professor Dr. Pensri Charoenwanich.

Assistant Professor Dr. Phongsutthi Phuensaen, who was appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, for the period 2024-2028, thanked the executives, lecturers, and staff for trusting him in performing his duties as the “Dean” to develop the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University. He also expressed his appreciation to Associate Professor Dr. Pensri Charoenwanich and the executives who devoted themselves to the Faculty and were well aware of their past sacrifices. From now on, in the next 4 years, he will lead the Faculty to progress and develop the Faculty to meet international standards. By implementing the 5-pillar strategic plan for faculty development as follows: Strategic Issue 1: Enhance Professorial Capabilities; Strategic Issue 2: Global Academic Excellence and Proficiency Standards; Strategic Issue 3: Expanding Global Education Outreach; Strategic Issue 4: Bridging Academia and Industry for Future Success; and Strategic Issue 5: Innovatvie Revenue Generation Initaitvies.
“The Faculty’s main driving force in line with its vision is to be a “leading and excellent educational institution in business administration and accounting with international standards.” The Faculty has applied for accreditation in accordance with the criteria for international business administration education, or the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which is an accrediting institution for business administration and accounting education that focuses on results through activities related to the institution’s mission (Mission-Driven Focus). Currently, the Faculty has reached the final step of applying for accreditation, which is the submission of the Self Evaluation Report (Final Report) and is scheduled for a Peer Review Visit in June 2025,” said Assistant Professor Dr. Phongsutthi Phuensaen.
