Faculty of Education speeds on connecting new-era learning innovations with the private sector and opens the Educational Innovation Hub to upgrade research outcomes, adding values of educational products

September 23, 2020 at ED-TEAL Room, 4th Floor – Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University organized the Educational Innovation Hub. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sumalee Chaicharoen, Dean of the Faculty and the faculty administrators, lecturers and staff welcomed executives of Aksorn Education Public Company, led by Khun Natsiya Assawahem, Marketing Director of Aksorn NEX, a company in the Aksorn Education Public Company group. The delegates were visiting Khon Kaen University for the event and to observe the research and development work on the computational thinking and learning enhancement kits for physically impaired students, which are the prototypes of Faculty of Education’s and Khon KaenUniversity Demonstration School’s researchers.


Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sumalee Chaicharoen, Dean of the Faculty said in her welcoming address, “Welcome the delegation to the Educational Innovation Hub, which features demonstration of innovations by researchers of our faculty of education on modern classroom instruction. I hope that the academic collaboration between us and Aksorn Education Public Company will benefit the development of teachers’ and students’ qualities that will ultimately upgrade the national education.”


Khun Natsiya Assawahem said, “The vision and missions of Aksorn Education Public Company are in the development of instructional process, not only in textbooks or teaching media. We emphasize the introduction of teachers’ kits to the classroom. With the MOU signing with Khon Kaen University, the common target is to develop “Learning Solution” for schools. It is expected that this tool will enable teachers to achieve the educational goal and prepare the required human resources for the country.”
