KKU Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and its saving animals mission in Ubol Rachathani flood

On September 19th, 2019, KKU Veterinary Medicine took part with animal rescue team to save the pets suffering from flooding in Ubol.

On September 19th, 2019, KKU Faculty of Veterinary Medicine represented by Asst. Prof. Phongthon Suwanatada (DVM), a deputy dean of the Animal Hospital, together with 11 of the staff from KKU’s Animal Hospital, attended the animal saving project in the flooded areas in Warinchamrab District of Ubol Rachathani province. A team of KKU joined the lead of The Provincial Livestock Office in providing vaccination against rabbis for the animals in the affected areas including Gootra-gnom Sub-district.  The team from KKU also provided other medicines to the local livestock offices in Warinchamrab district who would continue to distribute the medicine to the pet owners. Thanks to donations from all related parties, the team of KKU veterinarians were able to spread the help to both people and their pet. The animal food was donated by Smart Heart, an animal food provider.
