KKU Nongkhai Campus holds the 2nd “Law for the Community”

Office of Academic Service and Law Department, Faculty of Integrated Social Sciences, KKU Nongkhai Campus held the 2nd “Law for the Community” at Ta Bo District, Nongkhai

Office of Academic Service and Law Department of Faculty of Integrated Social Science of Khon Kaen University Nongkhai Campus held the Second “Law for the Community” project to serve the community and disseminate the knowledge related to law to people in the area in order to assist them in this regard. The event also builds a network in law between the community and the institution, instill awareness of ethics and morale, and enhance professional experiences as well as the concept of sacrificing among the students who joined this event as an out-of-classroom learning activity.

The event, taking place at Ta Bo Pittayakhon School, Kongnang Sub-District, Ta Bo District, Nongkhai, was split into two phases during August 16-17 and on August 19, 2019. On August 16 and 17, a training session was scheduled to give knowledge related to everyday law and to provide consultation related to law and community development. The experts joining included Asst. Prof. Somsak Thong-iam, Asst. Prof. Dr. Atcharaporn Sihawattana; Aajrn Damara Khamtrai, Dr. Paramaporn Weerapan and Ajarn Apiradee Mingwong from Department of Law of the faculty. On August 19, Dr. Paramaporn Weerapan gave a lecture on contract farming to farmers at Ban Kongnang townhall, Kongnang Sub-District, Ta Bo District, Nongkhai.
