Khon Kaen University Business School of Nong Khai Campus confers certificates to Mini MBA for Executive 2 graduates who are administrators from KOLAO Group from Laos.
Khon Kaen University Business School of Nong Khai Campus administered Mini MBA for Executive 2 for a group of medium rank administrators of Laos’s KOLAO Group between March to May, 2019. Following the completion of the course, a certificate ceremony was held last Wednesday, June 12 at Nong Khai Campus’s Chorkoonkum Hotel. The ceremony was chaired by Professor Dr. Suphachai Phatoomnakul, a vice president for innovation and enterprise and director of KKU Science Park, the program’s objectives and achievement were reported by Asst. Prof. Dr. Krit Rangsoongnern, a dean of business school in Nong Khai Campus (NBS). The certificate recipients are 25 of the medium rank executives from Laos’ KOLAO Group. Mr. Souphavanh Sorangkoun, a CEO of KOLAO Group also presented at the ceremony. The program is conducted in order to train young executives on knowledge and skills needed for the modern world business. The trainees are prompted for holistic strategic management in the changing business world. Following the certificate conferring, the chairperson delivered an address to the Mini MBA Batch 2 graduates and ended his remark with the thanking notes to the program administrators.
KOLAO Group is one of the Laos gigantic companies with an estimation of about 6000 employees. The group assesses many key enterprises in Laos including; Indo China Bank—the country biggest private bank. It owns concessions as a retailer for many international automobile companies such as BMW, Hyundai, KIA, Daewoo, Deehan, and Mitsubishi. KALAO Group also produces domestic motorcycle, KR, while operating other business such as publishing, newspaper, furniture, golf courts, and electric appliances.
