Tuesday 28, February, 2023 – The Innovation and Enterprise Section of Khon Kaen University held an MOA signing ceremony and discussed collaboration with the Commercial Economy Research and Development Institute. Prof. Thidarat Boonmars, Ph.D., Vice President for Innovation and Enterprise signed for KKU, and Mr. Adul Chotinisakorn, Vice Chairman of the Commercial Economy Research and Development Institute signed for the Institute. Administrators of Khon Kaen University attended the ceremony as witnesses. The MOA signing was organized at Meeting Room 3, Khon Kaen University Science Park.
The MOA between Khon Kaen University and the Commercial Economy Research and Development Institute is meant to enhance the potentialities and strengthen the capacity of national personnel, including personnel of major trading partner countries of Thailand and member countries of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in the dimensions of international economic and trading, finance, industries, and investment. The objectives also cover strengthening of competitive competency and sustainable development at the regional level.
Prof. Thidarat Boonmars, Ph.D., Vice President for Innovation and Enterprise revealed that the MOA between Khon Kaen University and the Commercial Economy Research and Development Institute, besides increasing competency in economy, will cover academic and educational integration, personnel development, knowledge management, research, development of technologies and innovations that are of commercial benefits. The activities will be arranged so that impact will be on social development in a broad circle.
After the MOA signing, the administrators of the Commercial Economy Research and Development Institute visited the Smart City Operation Center (SCOPC) and the Battery Factory and New-Era Energy of Khon Kaen University at the Science Park. The visit will lead to more future collaboration ideas.
