KKU President is attending the 2021 Thai University President Conference

December 20, 2021 – Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University was attending the 2021 Thai University President Conference online. The meeting was organized at the 100th year Puay Learning Park, Thammasat University, Rungsit Campus.

The conference was aimed at exchanges of opinions on the issue of university transformation for the future world, and the issue of collaboration in propulsion and creation of educational system that prepares a new graduate generation with appropriate knowledge to be able to respond to the changes in time.

The event began at 9:05 a.m., by Assoc. Prof. Kesinee Witoonchart, Ph.D., President of Thammasat University conveying the welcoming address, while Prof. Bandit Ua-aporn, Ph.D., Chairman of the Thailand University Council presiding over the meeting and presenting the opening address. The next part was the reporting on the collaboration for manpower development, skill development, safety building, prevention, management and reduction of risks from cyber threats. This session was followed by another session on exchanging of opinions on the direction of the future world and the changes in different dimensions that bring impacts on the expectations of the public towards Thai Universities. During the last session, the chairman proposed the questions for the participants to discuss on the challenges of the future world, and the participants exchanged ideas on the transformation of the universities in various dimensions.
