The National Broadcasting Services of Thailand, Khon Kaen and the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University recorded the video tape “Changing Thailand” Program, to be broadcast from NBT11, Isan Television. The video presents research and innovation related to water management at the Smart City Operational Centre (SCOPC). The works belong to the following researchers of the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University:
1) “Application for Flood Surveillance under the Hydrological Simulation Model” by Assoc. Prof. Supasit Khonyai, Ph.D., a lecturer of the Department of Agricultural Engineering.
2) “Development of a Smart Box for Preventing Membrane Clogging in the Hybrid Ion-Exchange Reverse Osmosis (HIX-RO)” by Assoc. Prof. Surapon Phadungthon, Ph.D., a lecturer of the Department of Environmental Engineering.
The Science Park, Khon Kaen University, by Miss Pornchawarat Thanman, Manager of the Department of Industrial Coordination, joined in the video recording by giving information about the support for extending the research works of Assoc. Prof. Supasit Khonyai, Ph.D. and Assoc. Prof. Surapon Phadungthon, Ph.D. at a commercial level. Miss Pornchawarat also related about the missions and services provided by the Science Park, such as co-research and development with the private sector, the Research to Market Project, etc. The purpose is to propel research in science, technology, and innovation to build socio-economic impacts in the long run.
