Saturday August 14, 2021 – the Graduate Program of Arts, Department of Thai language, and the International Affairs Section of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, held an online workshop under the project: “Learning and Understanding Myanmar Language and Culture” via ZOOM. Assoc. Prof. Orathai Phia-ura, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty conveyed the opening address when the session began.
The project: “Learning and Understanding Myanmar Language and Culture” was aimed at building knowledge and understanding about the language and culture of Myanmar and at enabling interested individuals to learn, discuss, and apply the knowledge in other contexts. Ms. Thet Su Mon, a professor of Rangoon University of Foreign Languages was the trainer at this workshop. The content covered 4 topics: Introduction to Myanmar; Beliefs, Tradition, and Culture; Tourism Spots; and Myanmar language.
